Rogers Plant

Our recently-expanded Rogers plant, with over 80,000 square feet of space, has new and innovative production and shipping capabilities that has improved the capacity and efficiency of our plant. These new changes are designed to assist in lowering our cost to our customer while still providing the same high quality and excellent dependability that has always been associated with our company.

OMP Foods strives to have a symbiotic relationship with both the community and the environment; we have developed and implemented several systems that are designed to do just that.

Shipping and Dock Area

Our shipping and dock area have been designed for maximum efficiency and overall product safety. Trucks can back up to one of our 5 dock doors without having to open the trailer doors first. The seal is broken and trailer doors are opened from inside the plant, which allows for ultimate product integrity. Only OMP employees are allowed access inside the shipping and receiving area thus providing yet another layer of protection for the food products we handle.

Truck Parking Area

Part of this development process is taking into account the large number of refrigerated trucks that are located in our truck parking area. These trucks lightly expel ‘truck water’. This water is caused by a small amount of condensation from the cold temperatures inside the trailer, as well as a certain amount of defrosting from product that the trucks carry. OMP has designed a structure for the trailers to be back up to as well as under. The slab is slightly sloped allowing for all of the ‘truck water’ to be collected and processed through our waste water system. This ensures that the water is pre-treated and not allowed to return to the environment in its present condition. This feature also keeps insects, flies and pests from ever becoming a problem or nuisance.

Another key aspect of this structure is its ability to maintain the quality and integrity of the contents on each trailer. OMP understands the great importance of food safety and strives to be a proactive food source provider. As you can see in the photo to the right, the rear of the truck is backed into a wall where the doors of the trailer can not be accessed. Therefore, the poultry products in the trailer are not at risk for tampering or contamination.
